KritiKal SecureScan Private Limited (KSS) is a Subsidiary of an IIT-Delhi incubated technology design house, KritiKal Solutions Private Limited (KSPL), which focusses on designing and developing innovative cutting edge technology in the hi-tech areas of Embedded Systems, Computer Vision and Image Processing.

KSPL was founded in August 2002 by five faculty members and seven graduates from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of IIT-Delhi, as part of the IIT-Delhi Incubation Program, with an objective of enabling creative and innovative technology development within the country and, effectively transferring that technology from academia to industry.

To commercialize the cutting edge technology solutions developed at KSPL, a venture funded subsidiary, KritiKal SecureScan Private Limited (KSS) was incorporated in August 2005, with a mandate to develop products and solutions in the vehicle security & inspection domain.
